Hello

My number one goal in life was to become an artist, and I think I am now. I studied at Indiana University where I got a BFA in Painting. I learned so much in that program, but I feel like I’ve been learning even more since going full time into art. My artwork touches on a lot of different subjects, but the process has more or less stayed the same. I fully immerse myself in a subject that captures my attention. I am a bit of a day dreamer, and I also get hyper fixated on things. When I get interested or bothered by something, I can’t stop thinking about it until I get it out of my brain and onto a canvas. On top of that, I have a curiosity about everything and anything. Hence why I have painted about geology, archeology, cosmology, self identity, historical events, war, and the list goes on. As I’ve been learning about myself and other artists, I have found that most of us don’t really choose to be like this.

To support myself as an artist, my community has embraced the work I’ve done with murals and my personal paintings. I believe as an artist, I have a duty to serve the community in some way with my art, and murals have been a great way of doing that. I’ve worked with the city, local businesses, realty groups, and individuals. It’s been an amazing journey and I hope I can keep journeying until I die.
